The original of this recipe appeared in Bon Appetit magazine, December
2009. This excellent sauce recipe was recommended to be served with
salmon. It is delicious with beef or pork as well.
| Quantity | Unit | Ingredient |
| 0.67 | cup | mayonnaise | |
| 0.5 | cup | spicy brown mustard |
|
| 6 | Tablespoons | tarragon |
|
| 6 | Tablespoons | chives |
|
| 2 | Tablespoons | brown sugar |
|
| 2 | Tablespoons | lemon juice |
|
| 2 | teaspoons | lemon peel | finely grated |
| | salt | to taste |
| | pepper | to taste |
Mix first seven ingredients in a medium bowl.
Season sauce lightly with salt and generously with pepper.
Serve with salmon, beef or pork.
