Tarragon and Chive Sauce

The original of this recipe appeared in Bon Appetit magazine, December 2009. This excellent sauce recipe was recommended to be served with salmon. It is delicious with beef or pork as well.

 Quantity Unit Ingredient 
0.67 cup mayonnaise
0.5 cup spicy brown mustard
6 Tablespoons tarragon
6 Tablespoons chives
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons lemon peelfinely grated 
saltto taste 
pepperto taste 

Mix first seven ingredients in a medium bowl.

Season sauce lightly with salt and generously with pepper.

Serve with salmon, beef or pork.
