Oven French Toast

The original of this recipe was found in the Heiden Family Recipes Book, July 1999.
Quantity Unit Ingredient 
0.25 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
0.67 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon cinnamon
bread
1.5 cups milk
5 eggs
pinch salt

Melt margarine in 9x13 pan. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Sprinkle over margarine.

Cover with 2 layers of bread slices.

Beat eggs, salt and milk. Pour over bread.

Cover and let stand overnight in the refrigerator. Uncover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Cut into squares and invert onto plates.
