Smoky Salmon Spread

 Quantity Unit Ingredient 
8 ounces neufchatel cheesesoftened 
2 teaspoons onionfinely chopped 
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
0.5 teaspoon salt
16 ounces canned salmon
0.5 cup toasted pecanschopped 
0.25 cup parsleyfinely chopped 
assorted crackers

Place neufchatel cheese in a medium bowl. Beat until fluffy using a mixer at medium speed.

Add onion, horseradish, lemon juice, liquid smoke and salt; beat until well blended. Stir in the salmon.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour to firm slightlly. Place in a serving bowl and sprinkle pecans and parsley on top.
